We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide this website, to respond to your enquiries and to carry out orders. This website uses no cookies for analytics or advertising purposes, no tracking and no social media plug-ins. Fonts and all other content are loaded directly from our server; no data is transferred to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or comparable third parties.
4. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by the following provider:

When the website is accessed, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system used. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functional operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the host. The log files are automatically deleted by the host after a short period.
E-mails from the forms are also sent via this provider’s servers in Germany.

6. Contact form and contact by e-mail
If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, company, e-mail address, optionally telephone number, selected topic and your message) in order to process your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions. The data is transmitted by e-mail to info@rating-king.com.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Required fields are marked; without this information we cannot process your enquiry.
7. Order form
If you place an order via our website, we process the following data: first name and surname, e-mail address, optionally telephone number, company name, address, country, optionally VAT identification number or UID/MWST number, optionally the link to your Google Business Profile, the selected scope of services and your notes on the order.
We require this data in order to conclude and perform the contract, to send you an order confirmation by e-mail, to deliver the service and to issue a proper invoice. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR insofar as we are subject to statutory retention obligations.
To safeguard against technical faults in e-mail delivery, each order is additionally stored in a protected, non-publicly accessible area of our web server.
Insofar as we process data of your customers on your behalf as part of review management, this is done on the basis of a separate data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. You, as the client, remain the controller for this data.
8. Spam protection
To protect against automated spam submissions, we do not use an external captcha. Instead, we use an invisible honeypot field, a timestamp and a limit on the number of submissions. For this purpose, your IP address is stored exclusively in shortened, irreversibly encrypted form (hash value) for a maximum of one hour and then automatically deleted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).
9. Transfer to third countries
Our company is based in Kosovo. There is no adequacy decision by the EU Commission for Kosovo. Your enquiries and orders are processed by us in Kosovo; the transfer of your data there is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures or for the performance of the contract (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). We protect your data by means of appropriate technical and organisational measures.
10. Storage period
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. We delete enquiries that do not result in an order at the latest after the communication has ended, unless further storage is required. We retain order and invoice data for the duration of the statutory retention periods (usually up to ten years) and delete it thereafter.
